Our love of storytelling comes from our founder and creative director Giovanni Riccò. We hope to spread this love of sharing unique stories throughout all of our services, such as brand journalism, business photography, event photography, product & interior photography and more.
We believe there are thousands of stories
to be told and we cannot wait to tell yours.
The studio is located in Torrefiel, a residential area of Valencia. Valencia is the third biggest city in Spain and a holiday destination for millions of tourists every year.
The studio is comprised of a reception area, printing room, dressing room, shooting area, break area and meeting corner.
At John Mermaid Studio, we believe that only by sharing creativity are we able to create something unique. In fact, that is why our studio is available to rent for your photography projects or for your own creative meetings.

Giovanni Riccò
Hello, my name is Giovanni Ricco and was born and raised in Modena, Italy.
Currently based in Valencia, Spain, I was privileged to travel from a young age which sparked my interest in Narrative and Documentary photography.
By seeing first hand the diverse cultures, landscapes and meeting people on the streets, I became a passionate photographer who believes there are plenty of stories to be told, and demand from the world to see them.
